Impressions will then be taken and used to create the brand new crown for you. The second appointment involves placing this crown and adjusting its fit and feel so that it’s more comfortable. Your new crown is permanently in place and you can treat it as you would any other tooth in your mouth. Most dental crowns can last for years and even decades before they may need to be replaced.
